But we know people like to have cost saving options so we also offer in the stainless steel designs. Our default price is for the plain stainless steel charm bead which is a popular choice as well. Please read below for the option differences. Since these items are made to order and usually personalized they are not returnable unless there is an error on our end.
STERLING SILVER:
15.9mm (5/8 inch) 22 gauge sterling silver disk laser engraved and then polished to a store room shine in with our unique three step process including a final polish with an tarnish resisting polish. We do our best to get the charm to a mirror finish but keep in mind these sterling charms are engraved and hand polished so there may be some faint lines or swirls from polished as they are not mass produced and polished. They are welded securely to a sterling silver bail that will slide easily onto just about any European charm bracelet on the market.
STAINLESS STEEL:
1.1mm 15mm (5/8 inch) stainless steel disk is the same size and plain style as the sterling silver but at a much lower cost. The disc is laser engraved and then cleaned. The stainless steel charms are not polished in the same fashion as the sterling silver. So they will not be as shiny. The charm is then welded securely to a sterling silver bail that will slide easily onto just about any European charm bracelet on the market.
19mm FANCY EDGE STAINLESS STEEL:
These stainless steel disks are laser engraved and then cleaned. The stainless steel charms are not polished in the same fashion as the sterling silver and are more of a rustic looking design. So they will not be as shiny. The charm is then welded securely to a sterling silver bail that will slide easily onto just about any European charm bracelet on the market. The 19mm disc is 3mm thick with an engravable area of about 15mm.
The bails the charms are welded to have 5mm openings to fit almost all European charm bracelets. Back can be engraved with a few words, names and/or date to make it even more of a personal gift. Fits most all popular brands of European charm bracelets including Pandora, Chamilia, Troll, Biagi, Reflections, Kera and more. This charm could also be hung on a necklace chain as a pendant. Engraved, polished, finished and assembled in our Michigan studio.
